The Podcast

How I Hof Podcast

Wim Hof has shown himself to be capable of remarkable feats. His world record marathons, his record setting ice baths and his amazing climbs of Everest and Kilimanjaro show that humans are able to do more than we thought. He credits the regular practice of breath work, cold exposure and mindset training with his great successes and states that we all are capable of doing more than we thought possible. Scientific research has shown that people who practice the protocol behind his Method, can consciously strengthen their immune response, reduce inflammation and stress. It almost seems too good to be true and because of that, we can overthink it. This podcast is an invitation to explore for yourself what works for you- without prescription or dogma.

In ‘How I Hof’ I invite Wim Hof Method practitioners to join me in conversation answering; how they found the Method, how it has impacted them and most importantly, how they Hof.

Sara Norris

Sara Norris began practicing the Wim Hof Method in 2019 when in search of something more in her life. Beginning with 15 second cold showers and quickly adding the basic breathing protocol using the Wim Hof Method App, Sara found significant improvements in daily stress and mood regulation. The Wim Hof Method has proven to be a great nervous system regulator and has actively changed the way she approaches all of life’s challenges.

In 2022, Sara became a Level 1 Wim Hof Method Instructor by completing the Master Module in Poland and in 2023, she completed Level 2 training. In addition to being a Level 2 Wim Hof Method Instructor, Sara is also Certified as a Forest Therapy Guide and uses these two practices to connect herself and others to our deepest human roots in nature.

Sara is continuing to learn about various thermal training techniques such as Contrast Therapy (combining hot and cold for remarkable benefits) and Sauna Master techniques. When she is not busy leading monthly Wim Hof Method workshops, Sara spends her time caring for her family, swimming in New Hampshire’s lakes and rivers and enjoying both the challenges and the rest time in nature can provide.
